What we do with what you send us.
Living Stone Homes, Inc. is a Florida Not-for-Profit Corporation, document number N25000009605, EIN 39-3318448. This page covers livingstonehomes.org.
Where this stands
This is a plain-language description of what we actually do today, not a long legal document. It is short because the website is simple: it stores nothing, tracks nothing, and loads nothing from any other company’s servers.
A fuller policy, reviewed by an attorney, will replace this page. If anything about how the site works changes before then, this page changes first. Last updated August 2026.
What this website does
- It sets no cookies
- None. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything.
- It runs no analytics and no tracking
- We do not know who visits, how many, or from where.
- It loads nothing from anyone else’s servers
- No third-party scripts, no embedded video, no map, no advertising network, no social widgets. Even the typefaces are served from our own site rather than from a font company, so no outside service sees you reading this.
- It takes no payments
- There is no donation form and no payment processor on this website, so no financial information reaches us through it. Why
- It stores nothing
- The website itself has no database. The forms below do not save what you type.
The forms
There are three: Contact, Volunteer, and Get Help.
When you press Send, the form opens your own email program with your message ready for you to send. Nothing is transmitted until you send it yourself, and it travels through your email provider and ours the way any email does. We read it in our mailbox and keep it there.
What each form asks for:
- Contact — your name, email, phone, reason for contact, and message.
- Volunteer — your name, email, phone, city, skills or license, availability, and whether you can bring a group.
- Get Help — your name, phone, email, city, and what you tell us about your housing situation. This is the most sensitive information anyone sends us, and it is treated that way.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you, to assess housing requests against our written eligibility criteria, to organize volunteers, and to keep the records our board and our funders require.
We do not sell it. We do not rent it. We do not trade it. We do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
It is read by officers, and by approved volunteers who have a specific reason to see it.
If you ask us for housing help
We never publish your name, your address, or a photograph that identifies you. Nothing about your situation appears on this website or on social media without your written permission, and “no” is an answer we accept.
Your file stays private. Volunteers on a job site are told, in writing, not to photograph a family, a house number, or a street sign. The rules we give volunteers
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will, unless a legal or grant obligation requires us to keep it — and if that is the case we will tell you which one.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
